Job Description


The Software Engineer Program (SEP) is a global two-year career development program designed to provide Early Career talent with the foundational technical and professional skills enabling them to build robust networks and establish successful careers in technology. SEP recruits over 1,500 full time engineers globally on a yearly basis.

The Program Manager role is critical to the success of the Program. The Program Manager has three key responsibilities - developing and coaching engineers, managing relationships with senior leaders and managers, and partnering with firm wide stakeholders to ensure the Program\'s success across the region .

The role offers an exciting opportunity to create and drive strategy around Program objectives to: deliver a globally consistent and robust engineer experience, secure challenging roles providing growth opportunities, align with engaged managers, support the firm\'s Early Career talent and location strategy, and actively listen to stakeholders to continuously improve and transform the Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Engineer Engagement:

  • Provide engineers with coaching on career planning and development, performance improvement, issue resolution, mobility searches and retention through regular 1:1\'s
  • Managing all logistics for program events, including engineer/manager roundtables, engineer 1:1\'s, SEP graduation, 30-60-90 day integration plan for new joiners, surveys and any new initiatives rolled out during the year
  • Plan, execute and support engineer development activities including engineer committees, networking events, communications and alumni program
  • Drive the production, analysis and distribution of key program metrics and presentations through engineer/manager surveys and materials for the E arly Career Talent Council ( ECTC) meetings
  • Lead program-wide initiatives across the region through transformative projects to drive global synergies and consistency in the program
  • Manage all core Program processes from end to end including placement, demand planning, Lines of Business engagement, SEP education, compensation and engineer development
  • Track and report the financial status of planned expenditures against actual expenses

Senior Leaders & Manager Engagement:
  • Work with the SEP Early Career Talent Council (ECTC) and Tech Center leadership to drive key initiatives and decision making in the region. Present SEP Metrics at regular intervals and drive the desired results
  • Provide guidance to managers/HR Business Partners on performance management issues
  • Host and conduct various manager education calls from time to time
  • Keep managers updated on program initiatives through a robust communication engagement strategy

Stakeholder Partnership:
  • Partner with Campus Recruiting to deliver top quality talent, participate in diversity initiatives and candidate assessment activities
  • Partner with the SEP Training team to ensure all aspects of engineer training are successfully implemented
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers to align on the implementation of program initiatives
  • Provide engineers, SEP alumni, managers, Tech Center leads, HR Business Partners and technology executives with ongoing program updates

Qualifications :
  • Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in talent development, campus programs or Human resources
  • Previous work experience in a multinational organization an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, strategic client relationships at the executive and manager level
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation and facilitation skills

  • High degree of initiative and autonomy
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual team environment
  • Strong consultative and influencing skills
