The eCommerce Content Specialist is responsible for facilitating the content availability and quality for all eCommerce stores/platforms in APAC, including product information, banners, sorting metrics, etc., and the product availability online. The goal is to support eCommerce sales and improve conversion through content and online merchandising optimization. He/she will also support eCommerce marketing and commercial planning for each market. In addition, this role also provides best practice sharing to markets from the operation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Web Content (60%)
Consolidate countries’ seasonal assortment and communicate with global headquarters team on region product asset needs and facilitate global asset deliver in time and improve quality
Manage photoshoot projects and routine design work with vendors locally to produce elevated content for the website
Support partner’s 3rd party websites’ content requests and sign off on the final content design
Partner with the region Marketing team on regional asset production to fulfil countries’ needs
Responsible for working closely with the global team to implement best practices and deploying tools that improve product content accuracy
Generate storytelling asset sharing process with countries in APAC (exclude China) and other regions
Responsible for master data, process flow and alignment to ensure that products are launched at the right time with full information
Be the Center of Excellence by sharing the best content and practice for countries in the region
Coordinate between countries on global/regional UI/UX projects
Troubleshoot on CMS tool during countries’ daily operational merchandising work
Others (40%)
Review and support country eComm’s commercial calendar planning and buy during the GTM process
Support eComm business function to run routine inventory health reports, and ad-hoc content and marketing reporting for the business
Work close with internal stakeholders on cross-functional projects i.e. UX, SFCC, Social Commerce and CMS tool improvement
Monitor and analyze competitors’ content management
Responsible for the onsite merchandising strategy to drive sales, conversion, margins, and inventory turn
Responsible for the content creation to website process with the aim of improving digital platform coverage, accuracy, and speed to site
Support SEO initiatives/enhancement related to content or product digital assets
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Good knowledge of eCommerce content and marketing experience
Able to multi-task to handle multiple projects and detail-oriented
Proficient in MS Excel and Photoshop; experience in any online tracking system is a plus
Fast learner, diligent and positive working attitude
Good organization capability and effective communication skills
Demonstrated creative thinking, resourceful and ability to deal with ambiguity
Passionate about sports
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant discipline
2+ years of working experience, with minimum of 1 years experience in either sports/apparel industry merchandising or eCommerce site content management
Have hands-on experience or exposure in SalesForce Commerce Cloud, CMS such as CoreMedia or similar, PIM (Product Information Management) & DAM (Digital Assets Management) system will be advantageous
