About the Role

The SEA E-commerce Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to drive the development of COTY’s fastest growing channel. It’s a critical role in the Regional e-Commerce team, reporting to the SEA Digital & e-Commerce Director. The role’s objective is to foster top strategic eRetailer & Marketplaces partnerships for all of Coty brands, as well as to increase the eCommerce share of our total Beauty business.
As such, the e-Commerce manager works hand-in-hand with Local eCom teams as well as the Global Digital team, ensuring Coty affiliates & distributors have all the support needed to overdrive e-Commerce.
Due to the strong emphasis on developing eRetailer partnerships, expanding distributions, supporting the markets in their negotiations and creating regional commercial strategies & capabilities, we’re looking for a hands-on seasoned e-Business leader. Sustained eCommerce Account management experience with Lazada is a must-have.

As the Regional eCommerce Manager, you will help markets grow the visibility & traffic to our brands on e-retailer.com and marketplaces. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of customer Account Management in the eCommerce space who can drive both commercial results and consumer experience through integrated planning and execution of eCommerce campaigns by coordinating internal stakeholders (supply, finance, local marketing & KAMs) and key partnerships (Lazada, Shopee, Synagie, Agencies).

Ecommerce Business Acceleration & Operational Excellence

  • Business Planning & Management.
  • Plan and coordinate execution of the eCommerce accounts in your remit including designing the eJBP in partnership with the key channels as well as forecasting and reporting. Build & maintain strong relationships with key partners: enabler (Synagie), Marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, Amazon) & e-retailers (Sephora, Myntra, Nykaa, and more).
  • Create and maintain regional e-Commerce plan & e-promotional calendar adapting retailer KCP (with special focus on “Mega-Campaigns”) as well as product launch calendar for both marketplaces, retailer.com and social commerce. Liaise and coordinate implementation with local markets to retrieve data and information that will contribute to campaign planning and performance optimization.
  • Create localized campaign and actively involve in 360 digital marketing activation. Faultless campaign setup and live campaigns on time. Lead ecommerce campaign execution and drive sales conversion.
  • Monitoring performance, including pulling reports, synthetising, and analysing them and making changes to the plan. Lead monthly sales reporting and financial reconciliation.
  • Work closely with supply chain and logistic partners to ensure stock forecast, fulfilment, and delivery on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor & analyse performance, propose optimisation to meet agreed performance KPIs. Conduct monthly business reviews with key channels and local markets.
  • Support the integration and deployment of new technologies and tools.

Communication & Leadership
  • Direct management of 2 people (E-commerce Executive & Intern).
  • Provide eCommerce education and share best practices within the Region.
  • Be the voice of South-East Asia to express local needs, structure priorities, advocate local platforms specificities.
  • Proactively and reactively manage stakeholder expectations to a very high standard.
  • Build relationship with internal stakeholders, external JBP partners and vendors.
  • Escalate issues to ECommerce Team Lead in a timely manner and work with all resources available to resolve.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

ESSENTIAL:
  • At least 5 years experience in e-commerce, key account management, preferably in a multi-brand and matrixed environment.
  • Strong experience managing marketplaces E-Commerce (Lazada) is a must.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, especially working with multiple stakeholders
  • Meticulous and organized. Ability to work on multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate & result oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
  • Advanced excel skills and confident in forecasting, reporting and budget tracking.
  • Proficiency in English mandatory. T.Chinese, Indian or Thai is a plus.


DESIRABLE:

  • Experience in FMCG/Beauty & Wellness eCommerce sites or affiliates highly regarded.
  • P&L ownership experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with limited input once objectives have been set.
  • Experience in using Google Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or any digital/ECommerce tools is a plus
