Digital Marketing cum E-commerce Manager





We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to oversee our digital presence from top-of-funnel awareness to bottom-of-funnel conversion and retention. This dual-role is critical for integrating our brand storytelling with our online revenue goals. You will be responsible for developing and executing the overall digital marketing strategy to build our brand and generate leads, while also taking full ownership of the e-commerce platform to maximize online sales, profitability, and customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities



A. Strategic Leadership & Analytics (15%)



Develop and execute the integrated digital marketing and e-commerce strategy, roadmap, and budget to achieve company goals for growth, market share, and profitability. Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both marketing (e.g., CAC, CPL, ROAS, Engagement) and e-commerce (e.g., Conversion Rate, AOV, Revenue, LTV). Manage the digital marketing and e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across channels and activities for maximum ROI. Conduct regular market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights research to identify opportunities and threats. Present performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

B. Digital Marketing Management (40%)



Paid Acquisition (PPC):

Plan, manage, and optimize multi-channel paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

SEO & Organic Growth:

Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and off-page) to increase organic visibility and traffic. Oversee the content strategy for the blog and website.

Email & SMS Marketing:

Lead the strategy for lifecycle marketing, including automated flows (welcome, abandonment, post-purchase) and promotional campaigns to drive engagement and repeat purchases.

Social Media Management:

Oversee the social media strategy (organic and paid) to build community, enhance brand loyalty, and support campaign goals. Manage the social media content calendar and team/agency.

Content & Affiliate Marketing:

Drive the content marketing strategy to attract and educate the target audience. Manage affiliate and influencer partnership programs.

C. E-commerce Management (40%)



Platform & UX Management:

Serve as the business owner of the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce). Oversee the site's user experience, navigation, and functionality to ensure a seamless and intuitive customer journey.

Merchandising & Promotions:

Manage the online product catalog, including product listings, imagery, descriptions, and inventory synchronization. Plan and execute all online sales promotions, discount strategies, and seasonal campaigns.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

Develop and implement a robust CRO roadmap. Use A/B testing, heatmaps, and user feedback to continuously improve site conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and checkout flow.

E-commerce Operations:

Work closely with the operations/supply chain team to manage inventory levels, fulfillment processes, and shipping strategies. Oversee the customer service process for online orders to ensure high satisfaction.

Platform Analytics:

Utilize analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) to deeply understand customer behavior, identify friction points, and uncover sales opportunities.

D. Team & Agency Management (5%)



Manage and mentor a team of digital marketers, content creators, and/or e-commerce specialists (if applicable). Brief, manage, and hold accountable external agencies and freelancers (e.g., for PPC, SEO, design, development).

Qualifications & Skills



Required Experience & Proven Track Record:



5+ years of experience

in a hands-on digital marketing role, with at least

2-3 years

specifically managing an e-commerce store. Proven success in developing digital strategies that have driven significant growth in online revenue, traffic, and customer acquisition. Demonstrable experience in managing substantial monthly budgets across Google Ads and Meta Ads, with a strong focus on ROAS. Hands-on experience with a major e-commerce platform (e.g.,

Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce

). Expertise in using

Google Analytics 4

, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools to derive actionable insights.

Technical & Marketing Skills:



Paid Social & PPC:

In-depth knowledge of campaign structures, bidding strategies, and pixel implementation.

SEO:

Strong understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.

Email Marketing:

Proficiency with ESPs like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Omnisend.

CRO & UX:

Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and a user-centric mindset.

Basic HTML/CSS:

Understanding is a plus for quick website edits and troubleshooting.

Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into strategy.

Ability to lead projects, influence cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Design), and present to stakeholders.
