Job Description

The Catalog Shopper , is currently seeking an E-commerce Web Developer to be a part of dynamic IT team with main function is the development and establishment of our brands' presence in the Web space.This individual will collaborate with the Head of Digital Marketing and IT team to help in the execution, tracking and improvement of Web developing, campaigns and advertisements.Job Function

• Working with different content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify. Responsible for the development of Shopify and API integrations and on-site customizations.
• Develop APIs to integrate platforms to backend systems
• Conceptualizing creative ideas, planning and implementing requests from the Digital Marketing department.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Creating design studies based on a design brief and presenting variations to effectively capture the ideal look/feel of the website.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and UX best practices.
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Create and maintain documentation and system processes
• Development and implementation of the latest technological trends in eCommerce

• Candidate must be a GRADUATE of Bachelor's/College Degree, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of work experience in Website Development, API Development and Ecommerce Platforms
• Proficient in Shopify's template scripting language (Liquid templating language)
• Proficient in WordPress and WooCommerce
• Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery and AJAX-based interactions)
• Knowledgeable in other programming languages (C#.NET, VB.NET or PHP)
• Comprehensive understanding of browser cookies, caching mechanisms and technologies for a more customized customer experience
