To drive, manage and embed our vision, we will need to continue to evolve our change and transformation capability and service. Doing this this will help enable the successful design and implementation of strategic outcomes supported by a future Risk & CFCC operating model. The Executive Director, Strategy and Transformation role is key to enabling these outcomes. The key responsibilities of the role holder will be to facilitate the design and execution of Risk & CFCC strategic vision and objectives, establish effective governance over transformation outcomes and continue to build capability, ways of working and partnerships that support the achievement of our vision and objectives. Strategy Develop the Risk & CFCC vision and strategic pillars and help ensure their effective communication Facilitate the development and implementation of strategic operating model changes for Risk & CFCC Put in place effective governance structures that instil ownership and accountability for transformation objectives and strategic outcomes Support the development and mobilisation of initiatives that execute on transformation objectives and strategic outcomes Track, challenge, and support progress against workstream plans to help ensure outcome realization Embed a change management approach and capability to support readiness for transformational change Facilitate regular engagement with senior leadership to maintain a high degree of engagement on transformation progress and outcomes Facilitate the continued evolution of the strategic vision and objectives with management teams and stakeholders external to the Risk & CFCC Business Implement the change management framework to support the execution of strategic outcomes Leverage agile planning and design methodology to rapidly assess problems/opportunities, associated value, impacted personas/stakeholders and viable initiatives to take forward and deliver Provide analytical expertise and delivery leadership as part of executing specific initiatives, e.g. external outsourcing, internal outsourcing and/or building utilities around certain activities Develop new strategic and transformation initiatives that enable the achievement of functional objectives and goals - especially on cost, risk and people transformation Support specific initiatives, e.g. deep dives, working with SME&rsquos, into specific accountabilities in a particular geography, delivering and articulating analytical insight and expertise that is coherent with - and aligned to - the wider Programme&rsquos work Ensure the goals of the change initiatives are met and executed by working with relevant internal stakeholders Manage change communications at all levels. Identifying suitable communication strategies and building on these, reviewing the plans and delivering reports to the Risk and CFCC MT and other relevant committees Processes Adopt an agile planning and rapid opportunity assessment framework to quickly identify and analyse opportunities and process related pain-points Adhere to such other process and governance requirements as requested by management Work with Productivity team to identify and document as-is applicable stakeholders, processes, applications used, data entry & transfer points, and business rules to perform analysis Participate in requirements gathering and produce analysis artefacts including (but not limited to) process improvement suggestions, interaction models across functions, and supporting definition & development of Risk organisation design, Risk CoE, and location model Support development of the target state transition approach Support change management activities Evaluate cost structures and budgetary impact of the proposed changes People and Talent Lead and train Change Agents to support People Managers and Leaders in communicating and promoting change as well as addressing potential sources of resistance to change. Mentor and support team members, onshore and offshore, and assign tasks where relevant Risk Management Consult with team members and identify and manage anticipated resistance Ensure that all change initiatives are managed in accordance with the Group&rsquos best practice requirements for programme management and that programme risks and issues are identified, escalated and addressed as appropriate Governance Establish appropriate change management governance oversight, including QPRs, Transformation design and management forums Help ensure that strong programme management controls are established for effective execution on strategic outcomes, including but not limited to : Project planning, tracking and reporting Programme change control Risks, issues and dependencies management Business change management Provide reporting to Risk and CFCC Management team on the evolution and progress of relevant change initiatives Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Lead the Strategy & Transformation team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
