Description

We\'re looking for someone to help drive audience growth for CNA, someone who knows how to make news relatable and with no shortage of ideas on how we can get our journalists\' work seen by more people.

Come join the team which helped win Best News Website or Mobile Service for CNA at the Digital Media Awards Worldwide in 2022.

As an editor in CNA Digital\xe2\x80\x99s Growth team, you will help grow the CNA brand in terms of traffic, reach and sophistication of product.

You will advise journalists and editors on publishing strategy for the CNA website and for social media and chat apps.

Being a versatile storyteller is a must. You will also help enhance our coverage with shareable video, infographics and videographics, as well as interactives.

And you have to think of new ways to engage our audience through consumer experiences and special projects.

Your goal is to nurture power users for CNA across the genres of general news, lifestyle and features.

You will also seek to deliver a more personalised, well-rounded experience for readers by collaborating with engineers and product managers.
Requirements:

• A degree in any discipline
• Strong news instinct and at least 3-5 years\' experience in news writing and/or editing
• Interest in innovation
• Sound knowledge of what works for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in terms of tone and packaging
• Ability to use analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Socialbakers, Chartbeat or Parse.ly and so on for audience engagement is a plus
• Knowledge of SEO is a bonus
• Being able to commission and supervise the production of shareable video is a bonus
