CNA Digital is looking for an editor to lead its foreign news team and shape coverage of Asian affairs and issues which have an impact on Asia. The successful candidate will oversee a team of regional correspondents and video journalists as well as Singapore-based editorial staff.
Requirements :
- At least 10 years of editorial experience, preferably for a regional or global online news platform, of which three or more should have been in a supervisory role
- A deep understanding of Asian affairs, preferably with a proven editorial track record in this area. In particular, we are looking for candidates with some experience of covering China
- Outstanding editing skills, with the ability to take raw copy and turn it into clear, concise articles
- A willingness to work unusual shifts, including some weekends and public holidays
