Established in 1968, the Singapore Book Publishers Association represents the interests of Singapore publishers engaged in a wide range of publishing, marketing and distribution activities in both print and digital formats. It focuses on developing and strengthening the book ecosystem in Singapore.
Established in 2015, the annual 10-week SBPA publishing internship programme connects students interested in the local publishing industry to a leading publisher or publishing partner.
Selected students can look forward to working at one of SBPA\xe2\x80\x99s participating member companies. During this period, interns will also attend weekly training seminars conducted by experienced publishers on relevant skills in book publishing, such as editorial, book marketing, book designing, working in different sectors, and working with sector partners. Interns will also visit printing companies and bookstores to better understand the final stages of book production and retail.
Please note we are only accepting applications from current university students at this time.
Application Instructions
Please apply for the internship by submitting your CV and filling out the form at bit.ly/sbpaintern by 28 February. More information on seminars and participating companies can also be found there.
