Job Description
As an Editorial & Social Media Specialist at The Travel Intern, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help shape the future of travel content. Your responsibilities include conceptualising and creating editorial articles, scripts, and captions for social media content. You will also be involved with planning, developing and implementing the company\xe2\x80\x99s social media strategies to reach and impact more people. Full-time and part-time roles (3-day work-week or per-project basis) are available for this position as well!

Responsibilities & Expectations
1) Content Ideation and Pitching- Be involved in content ideation and brainstorming sessions for both client and non-client projects, to provide input for new campaigns or client pitches.
- Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets.
- Create and participate in multimedia content that is aligned with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s tone and messaging as required, not limited to writing, copywriting, pre-production, photography, design, and talenting if suitable.
- Contribute to the preparation of local/overseas travel assignments, including itinerary planning, sponsorship and permit applications, etc.
- Implement and coordinate social media campaigns that align with marketing strategies across assigned social media channels for growth.
- Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets together with social media leads/creators.
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Some experience with SEO and travel writing
- Great multi-tasking capabilities and strong organisational skills
- Solid understanding of social media trends and extensive knowledge of at least two of the following platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Lemon8
- Comfortable editing reels or Tiktoks on mobile editing softwares
- proficient in photography and comfortable on camera
