Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct psycho-educational assessments and therapy services
Experienced working with preschool to primary students with developmental disorders such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other specific learning issues.
Specialization on English, Math and/or Science is preferred

Develop intervention and lesson plans
Develop and apply holistic teaching methods & approaches, strategies & tools
Conduct one to one therapy sessions and at times manage EIP group classes
Create IEPs to target areas of weakness for student & progress reports
Communicate with parents when required
Work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists

Requirements

Degree/Master's in Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Intervention
Fresh graduates may apply
Candidate with some training in literacy and phonics programs (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Jolly Phonics, etc.) will be an advantage
Committed to staying competent and up to date with practices
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Able to work in a multidisciplinary team
Energetic and self-motivated
Passion for working with children and the special needs community
