Overview
The CRM Functional Consultant will act as a business analyst for Microsoft Dynamics 365 system(s). The individual will be responsible for determine the users’ requirements, make recommendation to users, work with development team to develop and implement the system on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge in Dynamics CRM functional processes / features, entities, workflows, configurations, dashboards, CRM solution file management, security model and UI. Key Roles & Responsibilities
Project Delivery
Analyse business process/flow and provide the corresponding specifications for development team to translate specifications to program codes.
Provide recommendation to customers based on best practices and standard offering of Microsoft Dynamics 365
Analyse functional requirements and work with development team to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines, including security guidelines.
Make changes to configurable items, which include software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits
Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program
Conduct integration testing, system testing and support User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to ensure the smooth execution and implementation of the system in the production environment
Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently
Establish training package and provide training to the end users and relevant stakeholders
Prepare & maintain up-to-date documentation.
Teamwork
Work with team lead to ensure design and programme codes satisfy functional and users’ requirements
Participate in design discussion; work with Development Lead in reviewing and refining the design to confirm to functional specifications
Participate in peer reviews to improve project quality
The Ideal Candidate Should Have/ Be
Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE, CRM 2016/2015.
Possess relevant system implementation / maintenance experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/SharePoint related technologies
Strong functional skills, communication, and presentation skills. Able to front the customers to understand and document the users’ requirements in proper specification.
Good understanding on the capabilities and limitation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, PowerBI, Dashboard and SSRS,
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 or later, including configuration of processes and features
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodology
Excellent time management skills, able to meet effort estimates and deadlines
Customer focused
Strong verbal and written communication skills to understand, debate and evolve requirements from idea to technical solutions
Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
Able to travel as required
