This position is an integral part of the Singapore Quality & Safety Department, in ensuring the compliance with both internal and regulatory Workplace Safety and Health requirements; security across FBO/MRO operations as well as oversee Facilities.. The incumbent should possess a collaborative work style, well organized, co-ordinate, organize and promote Safety Activities and Campaigns to raise safety awareness on site.

In your role, you will:

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY

• Administer and develop the Company\'s Safety and Health Management System, Emergency Response Plan (ERP), ISO 14001, OHSA systems and Site Security Program;
• Conduct safety and industrial hygiene assessments/audits and incident/accident investigation and implement corrective/preventive measures;
• Promote and inculcate continuous improvement to the safety work culture within the Company;
• Participate in hazard analysis and risk assessments to identify, evaluate and control all hazards and risks associated with business activities;
• Conduct safety and health training for employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors;
• Coordinate & execute minor work projects related to the Safety, Health & Environment aspects of the Company;
• Liaise with local government agencies like MOM, SCDF, NEA etc. on all Safety, Health & Environment (EHS) matters etc.;
• Feedback/findings on emergency response equipment, PPE and GSE to Facility;
• Oversee the review and approval of hazardous work permits (i.e. Confined Space, Work at Heights, etc.);
• Implement safety & training plans, safety meetings, audits & inspections, site investigations and other related tasks in the Company;
• Assist to assess the levels of noise, heat, harmful or hazardous substances in the workplace and the exposure levels of persons at work therein; &
• Oversee the Singapore Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) during an incident and training of the CERT in fire drills.

SECURITY

• Coordinate and supervise the team of contract security guards;
• Lead the development, implementation and updating of the Company security plan for Singapore in conjunction with Head of Security Belfast;
• Build and maintain working relationships with government agencies responsible for establishing security provisions and requirements and with security intelligence and law enforcement agencies;
• Establish partnerships and mechanisms to exercise vigilance regarding security risk and threats that could impact Bombardier Singapore Service Centre; Assess the risks and threats, determine their level and provide the appropriate recommendations to the leadership team;
• Lead security investigations, when justified, in collaboration with the Director, Corporate Security and the Head of Security Belfast;
• Develop risk and threat analysis mechanisms for expatriates and business travellers, develop programs and raise awareness;
• Establish budgets for security and emergency plans;
• Develop and implement the physical security strategy and programs aimed at protecting individuals (executives, employees, clients and visitors) at the Bombardier facilities in Singapore;
• Coordinate criminal record background checks for employees and contractors; &
• Manage the CCTV and Access Control system and ensure compliance with GDPR principles.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You must have minimum WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C) or possess relevant certificates (MOM)
• You have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and ideally in a recognized MNC or US firm
• You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas and governmental agencies
• You have verbal and written communication skills
• You have planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
