Responsibilities:

Facilitate and follow-up on actions from various functions and departments in EHS improvement activities, rectifications works and accident/incident investigations, contractor Permit-To-Work systems Perform EHS inspections of the company operations to ensure compliance, and improvement of EHS improvements Identify and implement periodic EHS performance monitoring and measurements of the company's EHS performance through proactive and reactive monitoring e.g. noise mapping, trade effluent, industrial hygiene and air emission monitoring. Lead and implement EHS improvement activities arising from Corporate EHS and site leadership directions Drive a strong EHS culture across the organization by developing and executing awareness campaigns, training programs, and engagement initiatives Maintain EHS documentations required under the EHS management system e.g. Risk assessment, accident/incident records, chemical inventories, licenses and permits, SDS, etc Ensure that systems and procedures within the department are in compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act, ISO14001 EMS, ISO45001 OH&SMS and ISO 22301 BCMS

Qualification:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in an environmental, health sciences, industrial hygiene and chemical regulatory discipline.

Experiences:

Registered Workplace, Safety and Health Officer - 2 to 5 years Knowledge of chemical substance regulations and EHS laws - 2 years Working experience in manufacturing (e.g. Cleanroom environment would be an advantage) Certified Fire Safety Manager Internal Auditing Noise Control Officer / Noise Monitoring Officer Business Continuity Planning
