Job Description

Plan, design, and oversee electrical and instrumentation systems for assigned projects. Prepare and review engineering drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and instrument lists. Select appropriate electrical and instrumentation equipment as per technical and project requirements. Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems. Ensure all works comply with electrical codes, safety regulations, and client specifications. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, structural, control systems) to ensure smooth project integration. Conduct inspection and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems. Prepare technical documents such as method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and reports. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for material supply, testing, and technical clarifications. Support project estimation and proposal preparation by providing technical inputs and cost data. Ensure timely completion of E&I activities within project schedule and budget. Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).

Requirement

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field. Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation works, preferably in the marine, oil & gas, or process industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, control panels, and instrumentation calibration. Familiar with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.) and Singapore regulations. * Willing to travel or work on-site when required.
