Our Environment Group is looking for experienced EIA/ ESIA Specialist that will perform technical knowledge in conducting an EIA process (in accordance with DENR AO 2003-30) and preparation of local EIS and international ESIA. This role will contribute to organizational development and performance of the team. Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Preparing high quality reports such as EIA and ESIA
• Managing and demonstrating knowledge in the conduct of a local EIA (from social preparation to liaison with DENR-EMB for ECC release), and preparation of ESIA in accordance with international standards. Experience in preparing similar types of reports is an advantage.
• Conducting of on the ground data (environmental and social) gathering activities, facilitating community consultations and other stakeholder engagement activities
• Enhancing and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships
• Supporting project managers and working with the project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes
• Drafting proposals that demonstrate client focus and knowledge of best practice in the field of local EIA and international ESIA

We are looking for the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in environmental management/ science, or other related disciplines
• At least 3 years work experience in development projects, such as but not limited to EIA and ESIA including environment and socio-economic base lining and impact assessment reporting, stakeholder engagement, and environmental permitting
• High level of expertise in producing well-written reports and proposals
• Demonstrated ability in project management and experience working in a professional consulting environment
• Good analytical / problem solving skills, and
• Highly developed communication skills - both verbal and in written English
