Job Description

• Responsible for the electrical and control system including SCADA (WinCC, Wonderware) monitoring system, PLC control & monitoring systems (Siemens PCS7, S7 PLC, Schneider PLC, etc.), control system components (HMI, IO panel, network switch, network cable, control power and UPS, etc.)

• PCS7 programming knowledge and experience will be valued.

• Prepare and review I&C specifications, requirement, drawings, e.g. instrument lists and datasheets/specifications, ICA panels, control valve, process functional description and SLD.

• Responsible for Single Line Drawing, Control Schematic drawings, and programming of SCADA/HMI necessary modification of existing programs.

• Participate in the development of P&ID\'s, package specifications, logic diagrams, cause & effects, control narratives

• Manage and control contractors for preventive maintenance works. Review of diagnostic reports, system performance result for PLC & SCADA system to make necessary recommendation for improvement / rectification.

• To access current situation, evaluate and implement corrective actions to mitigate technical risk including of network infrastructure upgrade and maintain.

• To prepare and raise RFQ, to do technical clarification with contractors or vendors, and to raise PR until follow up the final PO released to proceed project or PM works planned on time delivery.

• To manage control system budget to ensure works within budget and GR on time without delay.

• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project with technical and quality issues

• Ensuring that all materials and work performed is as per specifications

• Prepare all required specification, operating procedure and working instructions and ensure all documentation are properly updated and maintained. Develop and conduct Risk Assessment for all control system installation works.

• Works with 24/7 hours standby for control site issue and problem response and follow up.

• To develop scope of work on Control system for all individual projects. Responsibilities of project tender clarification, construction drawing review, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of project to operation team with proper documentation. Coordinating with various department and contractors to ensure of the project completion.

• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Degree holder in Electrical & Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Automation Engineering/ Control Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 2 to 3 years relevant experience in control system, projects management, PLC programming Logix for industrial water treatment systems.

• Good experience with SCADA monitoring system and PLC systems (Siemens PCS7 , S7 PLC systems, WinCC, HMI, Schneider PLC)

• Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills

• Proficient with MS Office
