Electrical Engineer / 2 Years Contract

Job Description
Job Responsbilities:
- Develop engineering specification (drawings, data sheets, etc) specific to the assigned project and validates them with the Lead Engineer.
- Work Independently evaluates all the bidsreceived for electrical packages from various suppliers, performs a technical bid evaluation process.
- Anticipates potential problems and takes preventive actions and independently handles variations in project execution.
- Independently evaluates the electrical requirement for mechanical packages in Marine & Topside as stipulated in the project specifications
- Provides technical/engineering support and expert advice to Construction/Commissioning work at site, directs trouble shooting and follow up actions to rectify the gaps or problems. Handles more complex issues and where necessary, provides offshore support.
- To ensure project section specification are capture in vendor document view
- Visits suppliers, checks and tests electrical items to ensure that they function as per specifications.
- To provide support in carrying out FAT and to ensure timely delivery of package
- Mentor junior peers and motivate them for career development.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or Master of Engineering Certification(s): Relevant Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in eletrocnic engineeering in oil and gas sector, preferably in FPSO or Offshore processing facilities or minimum of 10 years relevant working experience for Master degree holder. Language(s) and Software: Mandatory spoken and written English and proficient in Japaneses will have additional advantage. MS office, AutoCAD, E3D, Navisworks, CAESAR-II.
