Electrical Engineer (AutoCAD) / Electrical Engineer-Automation & Electrical Systems Design (Marine)

Responsibilities:

Strong in handling AutoCAD design.

Take on the role of EDC AES Project Lead Engineer responsible for ship automation related system design and in charge of the Ship Management System (SMS) and its interfaces to platform system equipment and related control and monitoring logics, which includes basic and detail design : + Review system functional description from internal engineering trades and realise platform system automation, control logics and monitoring in SMS
+ Perform integration of third party equipment / system with SMS
Review vendors' technical proposals to ensure solution meets the functional requirement. Responsible for ensuring the Contractual technical requirement and Classification requirement of automation related design are fulfilled and within project schedule.

Liaise with client and other internal engineering trades for project coordination.

Attend technical review and meetings with client and vendors during project execution to ensure requirement are fulfilled, technical solutions are discussed and technical issues resolved.

Knowledge & Skills:

Must be strong in AutoCAD.

Good in liaising with clients and other internal engineering trades for project coordination.

Knowledge of Marine Electronics and Automation systems Knowledge of standard communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, RS422, RS485, NEMA, CANbus, J1939 (Preferred) Knowledge in Autocad for drafting purpose

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of AutoCAD experience.

Possess domain knowledge in the Automation or Marine/offshore Industry (Preferred)

Degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic or any related engineering field

Only Singaporeans! 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
