  Our client is a leading Japanese chemical company. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing E&I equipment for the production plant in Jurong Island, managing E&I contractors and ensuring all E&I maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely in compliance with local regulations and plant HSE requirements.
  
  Reporting to: Plant E&I Assistant Manager
  
  \xe3\x80\x90What you will be working on\xe3\x80\x91
  
  • Perform planning and scheduling for all maintenance works, including work and safety procedures, labour & equipment, spare parts and material requirements
  • Ensuring the daily, periodical and shutdown maintenance works are carried out in a safe and timely manner
  • Carry out engineering studies of E&I works in modifications, revamping or upgrading of plant facilities to reduce plant trouble
  • Carry out technical investigation of plant problems, evaluate findings and recommend countermeasures or propose new ideas to enhance the reliability of E&I system and equipment
  • Manage and maintain proper maintenance records & reports in accordance with industrial and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and maintain proper stock level of spare parts inventory
  • Plan and ensure the costs are under control
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and contractors to maintain safe work record
  • Perform internal and external audit

  • Bachelor\'s degree with at least 3 years of E&I engineering experience from a Chemical or Petrochemical industry is required to apply
  • Diploma holders with 5 years of E&I experience are welcome to apply too!
  • Knowledge of PLC or DCS
  • Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work overtime if required (such as during plant shutdown, etc)
  • Willingness to work in Jurong Island is a must
