This includes designing, developing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing and repairing electrical systems and components. You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of electrical client projects.

Objectives of this role

Managing electrical projects from conceptualisation to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical designers, contractors and project managers, to develop project plans and budgets. Conducting site assessments to determine project feasibility and gather technical requirements. Overseeing electrical system installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and project specifications.

Your tasks

Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets for electrical projects for our clients. Collaborate with design teams to ensure electrical plans meet technical requirements and regulatory standards. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures throughout project phases. Monitor and report on project progress; identify and address potential issues. Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams. Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in electrical project management. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems and components. Proficiency in project management software and electrical design tools. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality electrical projects. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN). Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in electrical engineering.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) licence or relevant certifications. Familiarity with automation and control systems. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies. Familiarity with building information modelling (BIM) in electrical projects. * Valid driver's licence in India.
