Electrical Project Engineer, up to 5k + CAR allowances (Chinese speaking)

Overview

A one-stop Electrical Consultancy, engineering firm who is also BizSafe Certified, ISO Certified with diverse clients in the commercial and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for an independent thinker with strong project execution, stakeholder management, and technical expertise in power solutions.

In this position you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects.

Duties

Carry out HT switching for the replacement of equipment and cables including switching for the testing of protective relays

Carry out Feasibility, Conceptual, Preliminary and Detailed Design Site works for Electrical Services for public and commercial projects

Carry out site inspections on LT and HT installations per EMA requirements.

Assist PE/ LEW to carry out switching of electrical panels.

Standby and attend emergency call up services at customer installations.

High level engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects.

Manage projects progress, identify any non-confirmation of contractor's work at site

Attend/Chair technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants and contractors

Able to perform occasionally (weekends) when required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore) Three or more years of experience in carrying project engineering in related field Electrical services, project management and supervision. Conversant with the Codes of Practice and regulations QA/QC/IEC quality assurance Skilled in CAD software Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong command of the English & local language, both verbal and written. Curiosity, tenacity and resilience.? Strong collaboration spirit to go for win-win outcomes. Able to manage customer's escalation. Growth mindset and open to a learning journey.
