Now we are hiring a Commercial & Alliance Lead for Emerging Market in Singapore.LiveWhat you will doDrive for Commercial ExcellenceReview (and co-create) partner\xe2\x80\x99s annual business plan and provide Amgen\xe2\x80\x99s inputs and feedbacks at portfolio levelClosely monitor partner\xe2\x80\x99s market performance, provide improvement recommendations, and perform business deep-dive diagnosis if necessaryDrives commercial operations excellence in supervising partner execution as well as OPEX spending at portfolio levelAssist internal key deliverables for emerging markets, quarterly forecast, annual budgeting, partner target setting, long range plans, etcEnhance Alliance ManagementImprove joint working models between partner and Amgen by keeping cadence of interaction among x-functional teams on both sidesDesign and implement governing structure to navigate the processes on both partner and Amgen end to deliver financial and operational achievementsLiaise with partner regional team for joint steering committee planning and executionWork with partner local team in setting up monthly and quarterly performance review meetingsWork with partner in setting up launch readiness review based on mutually agreed cadencePerform Pipeline PlanningAssess and prioritize pipeline opportunities in emerging markets to identify the top priority assetsPerform case assessment to support CtF (commit to file) and CtL (commit to launch) processesWork with broader x-functional team to secure pipeline development and registration achievements in emerging markets, e.g., regional pricing approvals, as well as identify acceleration opportunitiesWork with partners and lead launch readiness planning from L-36 to L-6Support country launch readiness by setting up and tracking the progress against defined achievements, critical metricsLead Cross-function Case AssessmentLead cases for in-line/pipeline in emerging markets for CtF, CtL, upside cases, PSP programs, pricing approvals, etc with inputs from EM marketing manager as well as cross-functional teamsOptimize Go-to-Market ModelsAssist in evaluating optimal go-to-market models, commercial capabilities and investment to improve Amgen\xe2\x80\x99s ability to unleash the full potential of emerging marketsAssist in developing country commercial roadmap and perform case assessmentParticipate in and contribute to the taskforce of implementing go-to-market model changeLead Business DevelopmentLead commercial/business development analysis and opportunity evaluations across emerging marketsWork with x-functional team in making proper addendum to existing distribution agreement (e.g., annual target update and/or supply price change) and OPEX spending MSAsWinWhat we expect of youQualificationsStrong academic credentials in science and/ or business administration from a recognized universityMinimum of 7 years professional experience in comparable roles in pharma/biotech companies, or compelling life sciences commercial experience in consulting companyRelevant experience in scoping and executing cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations, collaborating with global, region and local levels, and in managing multiple initiatives at onceStrong qualitative/quantitative analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesHands on experience of case evaluation and financial modellingStrong leadership and cross-functional influencing skillsHighly developed oral and written communication skills (incl. presentation development)Pro-active \xe2\x80\x9cself-starter\xe2\x80\x9d with results-oriented workstyle and the ability to deliver quality results in a timely mannerFluency in English, Chinese is a plusCountry commercial customer facing experienceTop consulting company experience is a plusThriveWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others so we work to care for our teammates\xe2\x80\x99 professional and personal growth and well-being.Vast opportunities to learn and move up and across our global organizationDiverse and inclusive community of belonging, where teammates are empowered to bring ideas to the table and actGenerous Total Rewards Plan comprising health, finance and wealth, work/life balance, and career benefitsApply nowfor a career that defies imaginationIn our quest to serve patients above all else, Amgen is the first to imagine, and the last to doubt.
