For our Linxens manufacturing site in Changi, specialized in the manufacture of smart card connectors, we are looking for our new Encapsulation Expert.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented encapsulation expert to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of encapsulation processes, equipment, and quality control measures. As an encapsulation expert, you will be responsible for operating encapsulation machinery, monitoring the production process, conducting quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
Operating Equipment

• Set up, calibrate, and operate encapsulation machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules

• Monitor the encapsulation process, ensuring that capsules or products are properly enclosed in their respective packaging materials.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency

• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the encapsulation process to ensure compliance with established standards. Inspect capsules, containers, or packaging for defects, monitor weight, size, and appearance, and make necessary adjustments or corrections

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of production data, machine settings, quality control results, and any other relevant information
• Generate reports as required and communicate any deviations or issues to supervisors or quality assurance personnel

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of encapsulation machinery
• Coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams for repairs, upgrades, or equipment modifications

• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in safety training programs, report any safety incidents or concerns and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate workflow, address production issues, and meet production targets
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to implementing efficiency-enhancing measures
• Provide feedback and suggestions to optimize the encapsulation process, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity
