We are currently working with a APAC centric Hyperscale DC Operator in seeking an experienced Manager Energy & Utility Manager - West APAC to join the Energy and Technology team. The successful candidate will develop and implement our energy strategy, manage utility grid connections, and build strong relationships with energy partners. - Manage power feasibility studies and grid connection processes for new data centre deployments
- Build and maintain relationships with utility and energy partners
- Support design and development teams in utility engagement
- Manage energy procurement projects and develop renewable energy sourcing options
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and meet energy requirements
- Analyze and present data to stakeholdersKey Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in grid power planning, energy project development, or energy consulting
- Strong understanding of the utility and electricity market in the region (Malaysia experience is an advantage)
- Basic understanding of EHV electrical infrastructure and design
- Commercial and business acumen
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
