:Marketing and Communications Manager as Business Partner APAC for Energy Systems at DNVAre you passionate about sustainability, marketing and communications? We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who will function as a Business Partner which will allow the unique opportunity to build a strong brand, reputation, employee engagement and customer relations in fast changing energy sector and growth region.Local Unit & Position Description:The Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs (MCP) team positions DNV as the credible enabler of industry change in the energy transition, helps win business by creating demand for our services through best-practice marketing and communications aligned with business priorities; helps build an optimal employee experience and satisfaction; builds and maintains relationships with policy makers and industry stakeholders; scouts for commercial opportunities/ synergies from these relations. MCP consists of five regional Field Marketing teams close to customers and markets and a Global Expertise and Service Centre to ensure global quality standards and brand building.To enable DNV to achieve its strategic goals in APAC, we are looking for a MCP Business Partner: an experienced marketing and communications strategist who supports the business meet customers\' expectations while also building a premium brand for DNV in the APAC energy market. The MCP Business Partner will lead a small team of marketing & communication professionals and be the strategic business partner for the APAC Regional Director as well as the regional leadership team.The MCP Business Partner reports to the Global Head of Field Marketing and is member of the Global MCP function. The MCP Business Partner is a results-driven senior marketing and communications professional with a broad view on the profession. The Business Partner is the central point of contact for the Regional Business Director and colleagues for all MCP related matters. You will support Energy Systems\' ambitious growth goals in the region through commercial, customer focussed high quality marketing, internal & external communications strategies and tactics tailored towards key accounts and specific local target audiences. You will be pivotal in building a coherent marketing and communications strategy in close cooperation with internal stakeholders from different business units, growth segments and ventures. You will also ensure internal communications is well deployed within the region to ensure employee engagement and alignment with the company\'s strategy. You stimulate collaboration between colleagues in the regional Field Marketing team, business colleagues as well as across regions and globally.Region Asia Pacific (APAC) holds an important and strategic position for Business Area Energy Systems. It covers a vast and diverse geographical area including seven key markets: Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, South East Asia, India Bangladesh & Sri Lanka and Australia & New Zealand.Region APAC currently consists of 500 employees across nearly 20 locations and an overall business volume of USD 120 million. After 3 years into the strategy period, the region has grown by more than 30% and targets significant further growth in the years to come.Primary tasks of this role:

  • Create and implement a regional marketing & communications strategy in line with the regional business targets and the global MCP Strategy.
  • Develops the MCP strategy and annual initiatives & tactics plan for the region based on market data and customer analytics, with the aim to build a strong brand, safeguard our reputation, improve customer relations and increase quality leads; promotes cross-selling by including the needs of Global Business Units, ventures, and segments.
  • Senior advisor for the Regional Leadership on marketing, internal, external communications, and public affairs.
  • Monitors and reports on regional marketing and communications KPIs in a structured and regular manner to the Regional Director and the Head of Field Marketing to ensure return on marketing and communications investment can be measured.
  • Leads a small team of customer focussed field marketeers and ensures adequate staffing.
  • Defines and monitors MCP budget and MCP resources for the region; aligns with the Regional Director and the Head of Field Marketing.
  • Embeds global positioning, campaigns, trends, tools, systems in the region along global messaging and applies premium brand quality according to globally defined standards.
  • Ensures Regional MCP plans are executed within required deadlines, budget, and global quality standards with the required results.

  • Relevant education in Marketing & Communications, Bachelor level
  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Mandarin, Japanese or Korean language skills are a plus
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) and expertise in marketing & communications
  • Experience in managing a team of professionals
  • Used to work in a global environment in a matrix setting, managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
