Arabesque has offices in London, Frankfurt, Boston, Tokyo, Delhi, and Singapore. The Role We are looking to hire a team of Data/AI Engineers in Singapore. Responsibilities will include:

• Developingscalable and performant pipelines.
• Deploying and maintaining cloud resources and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code pattern).
• Designing and maintaining observable and reliable systems.
• Identifying opportunities for improving existing systems and spear-heading alternatives - we are keen to learn about new and exciting technologies, as well as ideas that we can leverage in the team.

Current team projects include:

• Implementing NLP data into our financial ‘Knowledge Graph’.
• An ‘AI Financial Analyst’, approaches for financial modelling and analysis.
• Understanding data bias with application to transfer learning.
• Contribute to content / product development.

Requirements Core Skills:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Research experience in at least one field of machine learning including supervised and unsupervised learning, ensembling, etc.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Apache Presto and Delta Lake
• Experience writing Python at a software framework level
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Google Cloud Platform is preferred)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with database systems (relational, key-value, graph, search engine)
• Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
• Experience designing and developing APIs.
• Have a basic understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD Pipelines, IaC, Automation)

Our nice to haves

• Published peer-reviewed papers in top conferences or journals.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators (e.g. Argo, Kubeflow, Airflow).
• Experience with graph databases.
• Proficiency in other languages (e.g. Go, Scala).
• Experience with financial predictions.
• Experience with High Performance Computing.
• Tensorflow or Pytorch experience.
