QA Engineer

Job Purpose

• To provide reliability and QA engineering support in the development of reliable satellite systems.

• Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) & co-ordinate external certification and surveillance audit to ascertain company\'s compliance with the AS9100 Standard.
• Work closely with Project teams to establish practices and procedures so as to achieve the company\'s quality objectives.
• Ensure QA records are properly kept, contamination control and electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions are being observed by the Project teams.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) during the satellite development cycle and including overseas test campaign.
• Facilitate and monitor supplier\'s quality and product issues.
• Conduct failure analysis on failures encountered during satellite design and development cycle and work with project team to identify root cause and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Carry out reliability analysis for the satellite to evaluate the reliability impact of different design solutions.
• Collect and analyze data to determine actions to take to continuously improve the processes.

• Master / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• The successful individual should have strong interpersonal skills; communication skills and be able to use their own initiative in carrying out daily duties.
• Certified Reliability Engineer, QA Engineer or ESD Professional is an advantage.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
