Engineer For Ai Singapore (technology)
Job Description
AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore\'s AI efforts.
AI Singapore is looking for an Engineer to conduct AI-related research in various domains, including skill training, cybersecurity, healthcare, transportation, etc. The Engineer will be performing the following tasks (but not limited to):
1. Survey state-of-the-art AI algorithms in given fields
2. Investigate research problems in given fields
3. Design evaluation metrics for the target problem
4. Survey and construct datasets for specific research problems
5. Design Kaggle-like AI challenges
Qualifications
- AI knowledge (major in AI- or data science-related is preferred)
- Scientific research capability (experience in conducting scientific research on given topics)
- Scientific writing skills (previous publication is a plus)
- Reporting skill (be able to present findings logically and systematically)
- Communication skills (including fluent oral and written English)
- Proactive self-initiator
- Reliable team player
