Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day project supervision for repairs of vessels
• Attend VSCC meeting, project meeting, production meeting etc
• Ensure work daily assigned are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications and requirements
• Ensure safety, quality of work and meet delivery deadline
• Ensure good co-ordination and communication between the team, SRM, other departments and customers when work is carried out
• Responsible to assess jobs and provide information and man hours to Commerical team on daily basis
• Conduct risk assessment ,onsite risk assessment and toolbox meeting to the workers daily before any works to be carried out
• Prepare and raise PR to purchase material or DRL if required
• Focus on quality workmanship requirement and with zero defects
• Perform QC check upon completion of work with customer
• Liaise with customer for work inspections

• Diploma/Degree in Naval Arch /Offshore / Marine / Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge or experience of hull structural skills.
• Shipbuilding experience in welding/fitting/shipbuilding standard.
• Able to read shipbuilding construction drawing
• Able to manage workers and subcontractors
• Adaptable to changes due to on site situations
• Able to work under outdoor conditions, including grease and dust
• Willing to be hands-on for onsite tasks such as manhole related ops and lifting ops
• Able to work on weekends when required

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
