About our group:
The EDE (Equipment Development Engineering) organization is responsible for delivering the mechanics, electronics, and software used in the production of Seagate storage products.
About the role - you will:
- Develop and maintain process software solutions primarily written in Python/JSON
- Support migration from Python 2.X to Python 3.8.0
- Integrate Industry 4.0 requirements into SFE software to ensure data reporting and management meets the needs of the business
- Ensure continued delivery of high quality, reliability, and maintainable software
- Work the US management team to coordinate feature delivery and software release roadmap
About you:
- Software development skills
- Version control and issue tracking
- Python
- Failure analysis and debugging
- Good communication skills and documentation skills
- C / C++ / C# (beneficial but not required)
- UI design and development (beneficial but not required)
- Database integration (beneficial but not required)
Your experience includes:
- Knowledge in robotics, computer science, software engineering or other relevant discipline
- Data analysis and processing

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
