About our group:
The EDE (Equipment Development Engineering) organization is responsible for delivering the mechanics, electronics, and software used in the production of Seagate storage products.
About the role - you will:
- Develop software solutions in C/C++/C#/Python
- Develop Windows host applications using the C# .NET and Qt UI toolchains
- Provide requirements/failure analysis and software documentation to the rest of the team and customers
- Work with the CoE software team to deliver software on-time and of high quality
- Highlight opportunities for performance/feature enhancements
About you:
- Software development skills
- Version control and issue tracking
- Python
- C / C++ / C#
- Failure analysis and debugging
- Windows software development
- Linux software development (beneficial but not required)
- UI design and development (beneficial but not required)
- Good communication skills
- Good documentation skills
Your experience includes:
- Knowledge in robotics, computer science, software engineering or other relevant discipline
- Data analysis and processing
Location:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
