Kerry Interim is currently hiring an Engineer (IoT) to work on-site with a multi-national corporation. IoT-as-a-Service, a platform to manage a corporation's Multi-Edge-Computing (MEC) resources and IOT management to enable Smart Nation IoT services with edge computing capabilities. The unique proposition stems from the deployment of Edge Compute distributed cloud platform to offload processing and storage-intensive IoT applications such as video surveillance, analytics, 5G carrier hotel, and Massive Machine Type Communications. It is capable of supporting multiple types of IoT technologies such as LoRaWAN, Wifi, MQTT, etc.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will need to identify, propose, deploy, and support client IoT strategies and solutions. You will need to perform radio planning, and network design on the IoT platform, and troubleshoot the end-to-end device onboarding process from onboarding to customers' endpoints. You need to provide ongoing support for the commercial launch of IoT solutions, lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ, serve as an expert, teach, and train internal teams.

Skills and experience required:

• Minimum degree holder or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or Electronics Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience
• Certified IP competency
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, S.O.L.I.D., Agile/SCRUM development environment
• Experience with MQTT, Modbus serial and TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP communications
• Experience with LoRAWAN, WiFi, and/or DSRC planning and deployment
• Experience with application development skills such as Python, Java, C++, etc
• Good Knowledge of CyberSecurity in the IoT space
