Role Type: Full-time permanent role
The role of the Engineer - ITAM is to ensure accurate documentation and inventory of all IT assets, which includes hardware, vendor contracts and software licenses. This also includes the rolling out of different service centre processes.
This incumbent will also be responsible for all IT Assets for the hub and should make sure that we are following the global standard across every service centre.
In a typical day or week, you will be doing:
Ensure accurate tracking of hardware and software licenses, reviewing and managing IT resource volume and expenditure purchase agreements.
Managing the inventory of key items (desktops, laptops, thin clients, monitors) at all times and advising the Enablement Chapter Lead when stocks need to be replenished, especially for long lead time items.
Preparing and processing Purchase Orders for IT related equipment and coordinating with vendors/suppliers and the relevant internal departments for delivery and management for approval.
Advising the Enablement Chapter Lead of the expiry of server licensed such as HP and Fortinet.
Liaise with Sourcing team for service related concerns and issues and procurement of quotes for services and equipment.
Liaise with PEZA and other government agencies for regulatory requirements for IT equipment being imported or transferred between sites, in coordination with the relevant internal departments.

What you bring to the IT Asset Management Squad?
Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at varying levels - from senior managers to operations staff.
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and management experience
Excellent quality focus and a keen eye for detail
Resilient, collaborative, and the ability to deliver results
