Scope: ABS Group - Technical Inspection and Verification (TIV) division is currently looking to hire Senior Structural Engineer to work in Singapore.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Third Party structural design review and Certification. Provide Certification Authority (CA) services related to structural design review
• Design review and verification of well head platform, Central Process Platform (CPP), Topside module structures
• Review in-place analysis of topside and jacket. Review Strengthening design at wellhead platforms. Review and verify construction and assembly drawings.
• Design review and verification of Mid water arch system, spreader bars and trunnion. Design review of construction calculations and drawings
• Design review and verification of Transportation and Installation engineering of wellhead platforms, associated subsea pipelines, risers, tie-in spools and PLEM.
• Design review and verification of subsea structures such as I-tube Structure, diverless bend stiffener connector, hang off collar, flexible riser and flowline holdback anchor, flexible riser and flowline holdback collar, riser hang-off structure
• Design review and verification of SPM mooring analysis, hull Structural analysis, fatigue assessment, Buoy Operability and Interface analysis.
• Design review and verification of Gantry Cranes, Port Cranes and Offshore Cranes
• Design review and verification of spreader bars, padeye, skids, accommodation cabins, Mud logging units, offshore containers, E-House & Technical room and other offshore structures.
• Life Extension Studies for Offshore platforms
• Strength & fatigue analysis for Offshore platforms
• Strength & Fatigue Assessment for Pedestal Crane
• Design review of Calm Buoy modification drawings and analysis
• Review FEED, basic design, detail design, construction & documentation
• Design review of Structural design and calculations for critical steel structures
• Performed FE structural analysis using software
• Performed various FE vibration analysis using software
• Review of all basic, detail & as-built structural drawings
• Third party structural design review for a new build jack-up rigs
• Maintain good communication and relationship with clients and the supervisor/ manager
• Attend kick off meeting with the client, maintain document register, log and schedule.
• Prepare and issue Comments Response Sheet (CRS) to track the status of the design review.
• Prepare and issue third party design review letter, certificate and certificate of conformity (COC) as applicable.

• SACS, STAAD Pro, Ansys, GRLWEAP, Mathcad, Finite Element Analysis, OFFPIPE and ORCAFLEX, FEMAP/ Nx Nastran, GHS, Moses, Nauticus, SESAM GeniE, Tribon Lines, Tribon Hull, Precal, AutoCAD, Microsoft products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• The weightage will be given for selection of the candidate who has more software knowledge listed above

• A Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in structural, marine or civil engineering, or naval architecture.

• Should have a minimum of 8 years experience in an appropriate technical discipline and/or industry.
• Experience with international codes, standards, regulations and specifications
