Responsibilities:

• Manage standby duties on 24x7 for incident/outage activation or shift duty work.
• Lead a tier 2 support team to manage remote/centralized support to other Operation team within SingTel on matters pertaining to Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activity on Transmission/Access networks and Network Management System (NMS) / Data Communication Network (DCN).
• Perform as Automation/Digitization lead for Transmission/Access networks Operation which include process automation, digitization tool development.
• Perform as Operation Excellence lead for Transmission/Access networks Operation which include Trouble Tickets reduction, process optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Support Director to manage Singtel Transmission as well as Vendor's laboratory, for the purpose of software validation, new service validation, new technology introduction and validation, fault simulation and equipment integration.
• Prepare statistical reports (using Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint) on network activities, performance and reliabilities, as well as testing and investigation report during equipment/network failure.
• Manage the selected vendors to ensure they meet contractual obligations for successful delivery of the project.
• Manage Assets and Budget.
• Provide technical support to relevant stakeholders.

The Ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experiences in Telco working environment especially in Transmission and Data Communication area.
• Good knowledge in telecommunication and networking (CCNA certification will be an added advantage).
• Good knowledge of IP and ICT Technology, Access (MSAN, GPON and optical technology are preferred) and Transmission (WDM) Network.
• Has knowledge with database, data analysis and automation tool, e.g. UiPath, Python.
