Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all calls are logged in, incidents reported are captured.
  • Ensuring that logged calls are tracked, closed and records are updated.
  • Assisting the Authority in the verification, isolation and/or provision of a temporary work around for the incident/problem logged.
  • Resolving the incident/problem onsite.
  • Escalating unsolvable problems and service requests to the OEM/Vendor and/or Software Engineer and reporting the escalation to the Project Manager.
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
  • Performing backups.
  • Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
  • Troubleshooting any reported problems.
  • Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
  • Contacting database OEM/Vendor for technical support
  • Applying antivirus definition updates to system.
  • Generating the relevant administrative records and reports.
  • Coordinating system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing on the Change Request.
  • Overseeing all transitions into production on the Change Request.
  • Developing and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines on the Change Request.
  • Creating and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution on the Change Request.
  • Managing and document system configurations on the Change Request.
