Engineer (ILS)

Job Responsibilities:

Support operational teams in RAM and ILS functions in tender biddings and project implementation.

Work closely with Design team to identify areas of their design that could affect manufacturability, safety, reliability, maintainability and serviceability of that product/system/subsystems.

For Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RAM)

• Develop Reliability & Maintainability Programme Plan, provide MTBF and MTBCF calculations and fill in the details for the RAM compliance table during tender biddings.
• Develop the following RAM documentations and assessments during implementation:
• Basic Reliability Prediction Specifications (MTBF)
• Mission Reliability Prediction (MTBCF)
• Maintainability Prediction (MTTR and Mmax)
• Maintainability Ratio (MR)
• Failure Mode Effect Critical Analysis (FMECA)
• BIT Design Analysis
• BIT Design Capability
• Attend design reviews to clear all RAM issues with the Customer.

• Develop ILS Programme Plan and fill in the details for the ILS compliance table during tender biddings.
• Develop Configuration Management (CM) Plan and ILSP (Integrated Logistics Support Plan) for tender proposals.
• Develop the following ILS documentations and assessments for project implementation:
• Integrated Configuration List (ICL)
• Reference Functional Location Structure
• Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA)
• Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
• Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Maintenance Plan (MP)
• Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC)
• Technical Documentations (Esp. Operations and Maintenance Manuals)
• Support and Test Equipment (STE)
• Supply Support List (Spares, Consumable, Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants) (Using Poisson calculation and TIMEX)
• Training Plan/Training Slides/Training Manual
• Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHST)
• Material Management Data (MMD)
• Obsolescence / Diminishing Manufacturing Source Management Plan
• Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Acquisition and Management Plan
• Attend review meetings to clear all ILS issues with the Customer.

• Diploma in electrical/electronic/mechatronic/mechanical engineering with knowledge of electrical circuits and/or mechanical behaviour.
