Job Description

:

Responsible for system network and radio frequencies (rf) network design, procurement, implementation, conduct site testing & commissioning of Radio Systems for full turnkey Communications system MRT projects in Singapore as well as overseas. He/She will work closely with our installation group to ensure that the equipment and cabling works is installed as per design requirements. He/She will be responsible for interface design and management, Coordination with SWCs (System Wide Contractors). He/She will carry out both radio network system and RF coverage testing and be responsible on the quality of service (QoS), cell handover optimisation is met and reports are submitted on schedule. He/She will ensure compliance with project requirements/specifications as per customer documents, wireless standards, cybersecurity, data privacy and any other applicable laws. He/She will require to attend project meetings and handle other administrative/miscellaneous tasks related to projects.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or related disciplines
• Experience in performing system network design and RF coverage/link budget design for radio system, cable routing/single line diagram. Conduct site testing and commissioning of the system; and ability to perform troubleshooting of system failure on site.
• Independent, result oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to travel for overseas assignment and work during engineering hours
• Ability to multi-task handling, working under pressure, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Familiar with Microsoft tools
• Familiarity of radio communications systems in railway/train environment will have an advantage in application.
