Engineer (smart System Solutions – Smart Engineering)
Job Description
You will be in the team developing and implementing advanced Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Predictive and Prescriptive Maintenance for container handling equipment and other electrical/mechanical systems to ensure high equipment reliability and optimum performance. There will be wide application of distributed computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence by harnessing Big Data Technology as you work with voluminous data from various sources such as the sensors onboard container handling equipment and inter-connected smart systems. You will also collaborate with business units to develop multi-domain analytics use cases to derive improved processes.Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Computer / System Engineering
- Proficient in processing large data sets using programming tools like Python
- Knowledge and experience in database programming language such as SQL/HiveQL, scripting in Linux and data visualization development with tools such as Power BI, is preferred
- Keen to learn advanced analytics techniques on Big Data platforms such as Hadoop
- Passionate about technology and innovation
- Strong skills in leadership, communication, teaming, analysis and problem-solving
