Engineer (Terminal Operations) \xe2\x80\x93 Jurong Island [LKH]
Our client leads in utilities services, energy and electricity markets, fuel management and storage tank leasing, as well as energy retailing \xe2\x80\x93 focused on providing energy solutions.
They are currently hiring Engineer to be part of Terminal Operations team. This position will assist to oversee the operations of the terminal with specific attention to quality, safety and emergency, compliance with regulatory / insurance / statutory requirements, customer relations and other administrative functions, hence, ensures division remains a profit center for the organization.
Working location : Jurong Island, company transport provided.
Working hour : Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri 8am-5.30pm, Required to be on standby
Responsibilities:
- Manage fuel distribution process effectively from ships to storage, storage to ships and also dispatch to the power plant
- Establish continuous review and refine operating processes and procedures to maximise efficiency and safe transfer of fuel oil while consciously maintaining environmental, health, safety and other legislative requirements
- Ensure that the availability of the terminal is maximised
- Establish a regime to ensure that the fuel oil is optimised prior to being sent to the power plant
- Develop operations and maintenance budget
- Ensure the proper documentation of fuel movements, quantity, etc. for accountability
