Engineering Assistant, Packaging

Job Description
- Work with suppliers to develop packaging concepts, materials and samples for new programs.
- Facilitate communication with local suppliers (language)
- Coordinate delivery of new BW packaging material in the plant (review and approve)
- Coordinate validation parts and packaging material for packaging validation tests
- Evaluate packaging material in plant
- Local packaging system update (GES/SAP).
- Apply lessons-learned on the plant packaging activities.
- Provide Work instructions
- Support Packaging PR/PO process
- Support packaging print updates, CAD drawing.
- Support other packaging global activities (Best practices, packaging material catalog, cost information, design std.)
- Continuous Improvement: Cost reduction activities and Packaging improvement / Support to Quality complaints due to packaging.
- Support Packaging Recommendation for Incoming Components
- Represent BW in front of the customer for packaging projects review, when necessary.
- Any other duties assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Diploma with minimum 2 years experience
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry
- Well spoken and written English and Chinese.
- AutoCad/CAD knowledge.
