Job Description

Under general direction, supports the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility in accordance with the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes. Works with Industrialization Engineers to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability. Assists with the development and implementation of the manufacturing layout and processes and the associated documentation, and with the execution of prototype and pilot activities. Works on issues of limited scope. Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide support to Industrialization Engineers on NPI/Continuation Engineering projects.
• Document Production floor layouts.
• Create Documented Work Instruction (DWI) files.
• Create Process diagram files.
• Collect data on manufacturing processes.
• Assist with execution of prototype and pilot builds.
• Apply general problem solving skills to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects.
• Exhibit good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, to a broad audience of varying technical and cultural background.
• Collaborate with others from within and outside of the Industrialization group to achieve common objectives.
• Use facts and logic to influence others.
