My client is a well-established Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider known for their contract manufacturing services of high-mix-low-volume projects.

They are now looking for a qualified Engineering Manager to manage the team while overseeing engineering projects, maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency in the engineering department.

Responsibilities:

As the Engineering Manager, you would have to oversee project development, budgets, and teams, collaborating with cross-functional staff, ensuring project completion on time and within budget. You will lead engineers, support NPI commitments, solve technical/quality issues, and enhance processes. Your key responsibilities include project management, quality improvement, supplier evaluation, and maintaining engineering documentation and databases.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should come with min. 8-10 years of related experience in Engineering functions within the Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Service industry. Proficiency in using the SAP system and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office would be required. PMP certification would be advantageous.

You should also demonstrate commercial acumen, proactiveness in proposing process improvements, and a consistent high-performance orientation. Leadership & Team Management experience is essential for the role as is the ability to work effectively within a matrix organization structure.

Base salary up to $9,000 monthly.
