Job Description

:

• Develop and manage engineering team to meet the demands of design engineering and continued product quality, performance delivery and technology
• Direct, plan and co-ordinate complex project engineering assignments entailing technical specifications and preparation of detailed plans
• Lead a team of engineers to undertake detailed engineering and interfacing work
• Check and monitor all projects undertaken are carried within agreed schedule and update all work progress with company management as well as with clients.
• Ensure products are of acceptable quality and in accordance to company specifications
• Handle final approval of engineering drawings and documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Ensure engineering standards are up-to-date in compliance with ISO9001 in process and documentation control
• Identify design shortcomings and recommend improvements
• Responsible for engineering department budget, resources, hardware, software, scheduling, priority setting and communication
• Accountable for projects and responsible for the company overall profitability.
• Manage, improve and upgrade the good relationship with new & existing clients.
• Must liaise with customer/ sales personnel/ designer on the project requirements.
• Work with relevant departments in technical proposals and marketing drawings for the clients.
• Attend KOM (Kick-off meeting) with relevant departments.
• Must do DBS (Design, Bill of Material and Schedules) for the project.
• Must interpret & ensure technical specifications and Operating & Maintenance Manual are prepared upon completion of projects.
• Provide support and full assistance to the sales and marketing department in project management.
• Promote harmony and always encourage sharing of company’s values among all colleagues.
  
  

• Min. Diploma/Degree in M&E Engineering or related fields
• Proficient in AutoCad, Solidworks, PLC programming will be added advantage.
• Min. 5 years’ experience in project management as well as in Process and Cleaning Technology.
• Strong technical knowledge for all the engineering disciplines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent planning, organizational skills and sense of urgency
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills in managing team of engineers and assistants in performing daily engineering tasks
• Class 3 Driving License preferred.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
