We are looking for an engineering leader to lead our technology teams. You have experience designing scalable systems across a multitude of services, aligning our business-engineering efforts across functions, and removing any obstacles to productivity. You will be leading the team that’s behind Southeast Asia’s largest online marketplace for used cars, AI-automation platforms, and other cutting-edge solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high impact area
  
• Hands-on support and support team members while providing them with proper guidance, tools, and motivations
  
• Design and build a tactical strategy to manage projects plans, schedule, budget, and performance
  
• Work closely with the cross-functional team and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed architectural and designs
  
• Work closely with your team to help understand technical and business requirements, evaluate new features, prioritize engineering resources and raise the bar for best practices and methodologies
  
• Work closely with the management team to influence and drive organization design, contribution, and prioritizations

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related technical field
  
• Hands-on experience including technical management building holistic web-based software solutions, API design, and interactions between servers and clients
  
• At least 10 years of software development experience with 3 years of lead/team management role managing more than 50 engineers.
  
• Hands-on working knowledge of software lifecycle management and code organization
  
• Hands-on working knowledge of scalability, performance, and security
  
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, security best practices, DevOps implementation, and best practices
  
• Strong hands-on working knowledge of modern development languages, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, databases, and architectural design
  
• Ability to balance business needs, a sense of urgency, and without compromising high-quality solutions.
