Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Technician

& Responsibilities

Assist in renovation, carpentry, and installation works (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, partitions, etc.). Operate and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment used in carpentry and fabrication. Support project supervisors in on-site measurements, layout, and technical tasks. Read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and work specifications. Conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship meets safety and design standards. Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or adjustments to equipment and fixtures. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and proper handling of materials. Provide technical support in project setup, execution, and completion.

Requirements

NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering fields (or equivalent hands-on experience). At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in renovation, carpentry, or technical trade preferred (fresh graduates may apply). Able to read basic technical drawings and use measurement tools. Knowledge of carpentry machinery, tools, or renovation methods will be an advantage. Physically fit and comfortable with on-site work. Team player with good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
