What the role is:Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Lead engineer, CISO support shall support CISO in overseeing the infocomm security management. He/She would assist CISO to ensure cybersecurity is well-considered in ICT and digitalisation matters, ultimately safeguarding and uplifting infocomm security capabilities in an agency. He/She is also required to assist CISO to follow, implement, and refine organisation wide policies and globally accepted practices aligned with regulatory requirements, Ministry Family and whole-of-government directions.What you will be working on:The jobholder is responsible for the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Support discussions related to agency\'s ICT security strategy and workplan in alignment to Ministry Family (MF) ICT security strategy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the review of resources required in fulfilling MF strategic group goals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the review of Agency\'s systems\' fitness assessment (SFA) for technical and business fitness to meet business requirements for efficient performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the review of Agency\'s security posture, collating and submit returns to Digital Governance Platform (DGP) site on CISO Scorecards consisting of Asset, Risks, Security and Patch Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the review of agency\'s Standard Operating Procedures related to ICT security. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track and monitor Risks assessment / registers are completed and maintained \xe2\x80\xa2 Support in review, monitor and ensure compliance to continuous ICT security awareness and education in agency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support to review procedures in agency related to threat and incident management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support agency in the preparation of agency for annual cybersecurity exercise, logistical arrangement, and preparation of exercise materials for dry run and actual run. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow up with PMTs to ensure adherence to IM8, MHA Cybersecurity policy and the latest CoE cybersecurity hardening guidelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support to monitor and supervise the management and execution of all Agency\'s ICT systems are operating in compliance to IM8\'s security and other security requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support in review, monitoring and tracking of agency\'s ICT assets, inclusive of all ICT systems, infra, network, endpoints. In addition, the jobholder needs to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Function as an independent subject matter expert in cybersecurity to support Agency ICT and Digitalisation Steering Committee in assessing cybersecurity risks, enforcing cybersecurity requirements, and in managing cybersecurity incidents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with the Agency Chief Information Officer (CIO) to enhancing the cybersecurity posture across ICT&SS projects and systems in the agency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain his/her deep cybersecurity knowledge to effectively assess cybersecurity risks during both peacetime and when managing cybersecurity incidents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate cybersecurity considerations into layman concepts when explaining to higher stakeholders - to effectively explain concepts and requirements, as well as to justify implementations and residual risks.What we are looking for:The jobholder should have: \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary education in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related Engineering fields; or proven work experience and skillsets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Certifications are encouraged and demonstrate continuous learning and intake of standard methodologies applicable for this role. E.g. CISSP/ CISM/ CISA certifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and partner/ executive leadership skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work with multi-functional, multi-disciplined teams to formulate, institute real time awareness of security posture and baseline. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 8 years of demonstrated management experience related to information security and solid grasp of ICT operations, security policies, business processes and the relationship between them. \xe2\x80\xa2 Positive attitude & collaborative mindset. \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly motivated to keep abreast with the latest development in cybersecurity technology and acquire deep technical skills and knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good leadership skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good planning skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
