Duties and Responsibilities

Plan preventive maintenance effectively for machines and equipment in the company
Perform planned preventive maintenance measures to ensure all machines and equipment are serviced on time and its reliability is maintained at the optimum level.
Carry out routine inspection and servicing of the company\xe2\x80\x99s mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, refrigeration plants and air-conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment to ensure all machines and equipment are functioning according to specifications and requirements.
Analyse the machine and equipment performance including the functioning of PLC and power drives and make an improvement to increase the machine and equipment uptime
Perform root cause analysis to resolve machine and equipment issues when arise and carry out necessary repair works.
Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures to support daily operations
Identify the areas of improvement for the current machinery construction and design
Update the mechanical and electrical maintenance works, records and changes.

Requirements

Experienced in engineering maintenance practices
Good knowledge and concept of machine preventive maintenance
Technical operations of the machines and equipment
Mechanical and electrical design knowledge
Operations of the programmable logic controller (PLC)
Computer-Aided Design
Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
5S and safety practices
Forklift license
Know the organisational policies and procedures and develop maintenance policies and procedures
Sound knowledge of power drives and PLC or mechanical structure system design
Plan, prioritise and allocate the necessary resources for maintenance/repair tasks
Know appropriate frequency for preventive maintenance measures and schedule
