Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Engineers Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in optical networking. The intern will assist senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of optical network equipment, while developing technical knowledge and skills in a practical work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing, configuring, commissioning and testing optical network equipment, including switches, multiplexers, amplifiers, and transceivers. Support in conducting site surveys to assess optical network requirements, evaluate existing infrastructure, and identify potential challenges. Assist in troubleshooting optical network issues, under the guidance of senior engineers, to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of all installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities, including network diagrams, test reports, and equipment inventories. Participate in training programs and self-study to enhance knowledge and skills in optical networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of optical networking principles, standards, and technologies. Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Able and willing to work under pressure and tight schedule Strong interest in learning and developing skills in optical networking. Fresh graduates are welcomed
